Roadblock

Life, that is 30Whims life, is on hold...yet again.  I will not elaborate, there are just some details that may affect the launch hence, I have no choice but to hold it--again.

I hope one day, the dream becomes reality.  For the meantime, just adding another featurette: Inspirations on the Road.  Will keep adding photos I have taken or have seen which still keeps me gunning for gold...

Winter is coming: the return of icy confidence

Resurrecting the long overdue launch of 30Whims, you can start browsing the site and if you find anything you would like to purchase, you can place your orders via any mode of communication (check out BUZZ tab) or to make it easier for you, just drop a comment in this site :)  

Please wait for my confirmation (either BB message, SMS, call, or email) in which I will indicate when you can expect the order to be ready.

So what information do I need when placing the order:

1) Your name

2) Your order (better if you quote the code)

3) # of items per order

4) Specifications eg. color, size (subject to availability)

5) Your mode of purchase (check out TAKEOUT OR DELIVERY tab)

6) Change required (note that payment is thru CASH only; please advice earlier regarding bills to ensure I have ready change when we meet :))

Resurrection

I turned officially 30 yesterday (18th August 2012) at the seaside, where I've always felt I'm meant to be (in)...this project I had been stressing for the longest time, though it didn't work out the way I planned it to be, is still in my mind--like an old memory that just wouldn't go away.

I admit, I was depressed a month before my day, not because of the age, but more because of not being able to put into reality what I thought would have been natural for me to do--that is, to make cute, heartwarming trinkets and decor and be able to live off the ample income it generates, validating these big talks of business-minded people that passion is (enough) key to success.

At some point, maybe with the help of some inspirational stories from an old senior who still keeps me in the loop of of his weekly Thursday emails, I realized and accepted (with grace and humility that I can only hope for) that this project I started, is just that--a start.  It's delayed self-culmination doesn't mean the end, it just means it's not yet time.

So at 30 years and 1 day of my life, I am rewriting my story...and resurrecting an old memory that I have treated as a  failure earlier and changing it as a boulder of a stepping stone to overcome in my flabby state and get past it with a toned shell of a woman and the dream and confidence of a wild-haired* girl (wild haired because I seldom comb my hair haha)..

All this I realized from a trip away from the material temptations of the city (ie. the mall), and nearer to places close to my heart. 

So 30Whims, the name will not change but the outlook will...

Due to unexpected circumstances, the Meet and Greet event is moved to 5th May 2012 (Saturday) at the same venue--Dubai Flea Market.  Hope to see you there!

Hello everyone!

I felt it's the right time to come out and mingle so--come see 30Whims at Safa Park Flea Market on 7th April 2012 (Saturday).  Check out the standard 30 product lines on offer which you might be interested in using for any upcoming/future event.
