Some bits and pieces that might interest you :)


* DEFINITION: Whim [hwim, wimNoun 1. an odd or capricious notion or desire; a sudden or freakish fancy. 2. capricious humor.

* Sea urchins and dandelions were my inspirations for the fabric pompoms. 


* I lived in the so-called metro but was blessed with having: a hill as my childhood playground; cow-/goat-/chicken-grazers and fresh pandesal & taho in the morning; a mother who loves gardening and a father who loves trees (ie. our house at one point looked like a forest). 


* Some of the materials used are recycled (I am earth-friendly and I help in any way I can).


* My style bible is inspired by fascination for the following which I have accumulated over the years ever since childhood: 


Trees and the way the canopy looks against the sky (day and night)....Summer sky at night....Seaside....Better Homes & Gardens magazines (usually back issues)....Country Living magazines....Rachel Ashwell and her Shabby Chic television show....Martha Stewart....Sakura Festival in Japan....Ivarluski Aseron's "Katya" gown collection 2002 at Glorietta Activity Center (when he was still starting out)....fabric prints....swatches of textiles and laminates (thanks to my stint in an interior fit-out company)....Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village....city streets in the day and on a weekend (the sound of silence in an otherwise noisy and busy location)....the smell of comfort eg. freshly-brewed coffee, new laundry, piping hot baked bread....Hello Kitty....basket weaving....Living Masters television show in the Lifestyle Network....      


* Our paperbags/packaging are made from recycled magazines.
